Did you know that Amazon (that let’s admit we all know, love and use way too often) has a business section?
Yes, there is an Amazon Business which is specifically for businesses. So if your business regularly buys from Amazon, you should have a separate Amazon Business Account
Here is some additional information that might be useful:
It’s free to set up and but also has the following additional benefits;
- Firstly it’s familiar as it is very similar to the normal Amazon so it won’t involve learning a new system.
- Competitive pricing – it offers business discounts so you may find the products you usually purchase cheaper.
- It has the ability to set up multi-user accounts so you can have visibility of all spending but also have control over how and what others within your organisation buy.
- Keep your business and personal purchases separate.
- There is the business feature which allows you to pay by invoice so you can pay in 30 days instead of immediately which may help your cash flow.
- There are downloadable VAT invoices so if your business is VAT registered you can ensure you are always claiming the VAT.
I think one of the best and most useful is the fact that you can integrate Amazon Business to Dext so you don’t even need to download and send the invoices to Dext. Once integrated, Dext will retrieve all invoices directly for you, saving you time on admin.
If any of the above seem like they would be useful to your business, it would be worth signing up for a free Amazon Business account for your business.
