Take the stress out of your accounts and enjoy profitable business growth

Work with us to make more time for your family

PPF is an accountancy practice run by mums for parents! Our mission is to make your accounting process as simple and stress free as possible, so you can spend more time doing the things you love, with the people you love.

As a parent in business you need an accountant who understands the juggle, and we truly do, as we are doing it too! We will work in partnership with you to give you the service you and your business needs, so you can concentrate on running your business, and family, instead of worrying about your accounts. We can help you to set up your business, and then help your business to grow – as well as keep you in HMRC’s good books!

We are delighted to partner with Xero, Receipt Bank, Float and Fathom to provide you with beautiful accounting software, which takes the headache of doing your accounts away and helps to build the business of your dreams.

Because less time on your books means more time with your family.

CHERYL SHARP ACCA

Founder

The why: As a mum and step-mum to a tribe of 5, I fully understand the juggle of work and home life. Pink Pig Financials was born out of a dream that I could spend equal time doing what I love and being with the people I love. Starting a business was both the scariest thing I’ve ever done, but also the thing I’m most proud of (along with my Children, of course!). It’s why I’m driven to help other parents realise that they can find flexibility and do both!

The who, what, where and, when: I’ve helped all kinds of amazing businesses since I began working in accounts in 2003. My journey started with becoming AAT qualified shortly after my first son was born, and led me to completing a Payroll Management Diploma shortly after. Clearly unable to sit still, I then went on to tackle my ACCA qualification and became a Certified Chartered Accountant, self-taught from home around the kids and my job. I’ve always had something to work towards, my next achievement in business, a new piece of technology to master, a bucket list of global destinations to visit. I believe all business owners can work towards their ideal lifestyle from day 1 of starting out.

The braggy bit: ACCA qualified, Xero Advisor Certified, Xero Payroll Certified, Xero Migration Certified, Xero’s Most Valued Professional 2018

Ask me about: Running your business in pursuit of your life goals, where to travel to, or any episode of Friends (and I’ll probably quote it).

JAMES SHARP

Chief People Officer

The why: I’m doing what I do best when I’m managing people and processes. It became a no brainer for Cheryl and I to grow Pink Pig Financials together, with my history of experience in running operations (the ying to Cheryl’s yang!).

The who, what, where and, when: I joined PPF with a very different professional background to the rest of the team, having served in the Iraq conflict in 2003 and spent five years as a Submariner in the Royal Navy. During this time I received the Iraq war medal & Nato medal for my role in protecting the shores during the Athens Olympics in 2004.
I joined the business after 12 years in customer service management on the railways, managing multiple teams of 60+ and overseeing the day to day operations within my region.
Whilst the rest of the PPF team focus on the clients, I’m developing our marketing strategies, dealing with HR, implementing policies and procedures and generally keeping us on track.

The braggy bit: BTEC L3 Diploma Customer Service, BTEC L7 Advanced Investigative Practice (APCIP), Engineering Apprenticeship, Diploma in Human Resources, L2 NVQ Rail Transport Operations, CMI L3 Coaching & Mentoring, FA Goalkeeping & outfield coaching badges.

Ask me about: our employment challenges, Countries to visit (and not to visit – I’ve been to many!) or how to upcycle.

VIKKI COE ACCA

Chartered Accountant

The why: Being a part of the PPF family means that I get to work in an industry that I love whilst also working around my daughter’s busy life! Working in a flexible team means never missing the important moments and being fully present for my family and for my clients.

The who, what, where and, when: I joined the Pink Pig Family in 2018 after a career teaching business studies, accounting and economics to A Level and GCSE students. For a number of years I had been looking after the accounts for my own business clients, and now use my experience to prepare company accounts, forecasts and budgets for a lovely bunch of limited companies at Pink Pig.

The braggy bit: ACCA qualified, Xero Advisor Certified, Xero Payroll Certified

Ask me about: What forecasting can do for your business, how to train for a running challenge, or what combo is best on a pancake (I was born on pancake day).

CAROLINE HANCOCK ACCA

Client Account Manager

The why: I love being part of a company that cares about their employees and clients in equal measure and treats everyone as individuals. It’s an added benefit that everyone on the team shares an understanding of what it’s like to be a working parent! That understanding helps us build long lasting relationships with our clients.

The who, what, where and, when: After studying a BComm and BComm Honours in Financial Accounting at the University of Pretoria, I took a scary and exciting leap and left South Africa to embark on an adventure around Europe. Eventually I settled in the UK where I spent the majority of my career in accounting for Transport for London, looking after the balance sheet for Docklands Light Railway, London River Services and the subsurface underground lines, compiling year end accounts and dealing with auditors. All the while, growing as a parent to two beautiful daughters! As someone who loves attention to detail and achieving balance, I’m in the right place to support business owners with all their bookkeeping needs.

The braggy bit: A fully qualified member of the ACCA for more than 10 years, Xero Advisor Certified.

Ask me about: The kind of life you can live when you don’t have to worry about your accounting, what it’s like to snorkel the Great Barrier Reef, or what to bake this weekend.

ELLIE ANTKIEWICZ

Client Account Manager

The why: was looking for a company where I could expand my learning and experience as a bookkeeper, that really understood this ‘work-life balance’ thing. I was excited to find a company who understood my needs as much as they understood their clients. The team reached out to me and asked me to apply, and it was a yes!

The who, what, where and, when: I built a solid foundation in Bookkeeping and Payroll in an accountancy practice in Cambridgeshire. Now I’m excited to continue learning new tech with the team as I take care of bookkeeping and payroll for the PPF clients. Born in London, raised in Cambridgeshire and currently living in Essex is a bit of a tell tale sign I love to travel around. Working virtually, I hope to be able to take this little MacBook with me to some exciting places in future, as travel is a huge part of my life.

The braggy bit: 6 + years as a Bookkeeper!

Ask me about: Anything you don’t understand about daily bookkeeping – (I’ll put it in real human terms), how to say more than just swear words in Spanish, or my recommendation for your next adventure!

“Cheryl is a very professional and approachable accountant who takes great pride in her work. She is always working extremely hard to be the most proficient accountant and making sure she is abreast of the latest information so she can pass this onto her customers. It is a pleasure to be able to have Cheryl looking after my accounts.”
